In an effort to support economic growth in Baranya County and in the whole of South West Hungary, Prohuman, Hungary’s leading HR service provider and one of the fastest-growing businesses of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, is turning the offices of HR-Rent Kft, its Pécs-based subsidiary, into its regional headquarters. The company has recently signed a strategic agreement with the University of Pécs, and is now upgrading its Pécs office into a regional hub in response to recent economic growth and the associated spur in demand for HR services. The Chair of the company’s Board of Directors was joined at the opening ceremony by the CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), the Chancellor of the University of Pécs and the Secretary General of the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Prohuman now employs over 25 thousand people across 7 countries, but maintaining its market-leading position in Hungary and providing an ever-wider range of services to its growing clientele are just as important to the company as expanding internationally. The opening of its new regional office for North West Hungary in February was another milestone in this process, and the company has now expanded the offices of HR-Rent, its Pécs-based subsidiary to become a new regional headquarters in South West Hungary.
HR-Rent has been supporting companies across Baranya County with its offering of labour
market services for nearly 20 years. It became a subsidiary of Prohuman in 2016, and is
currently under the leadership of Attila Feleki. Starting from June, the company’s offices in
Pécs will act as the regional headquarters. Speeches were delivered at the opening
ceremony by Sándor Zakor, founding owner of Prohuman Zrt and Chairman of the Board,
István Joó, CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), István Decsi,
Chancellor of the University of Pécs, Szabolcs Rabb, Secretary General of the Pécs-Baranya
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Group CEO Dr Ágnes Tóth, and a number of
prestigious representatives of the local business community.
Prohuman is committed to supporting business enterprises and to promoting economic
growth in the region through the provision of HR services. To this end, the group works
closely with Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and signed a strategic
agreement with the University of Pécs in the summer of 2023. This year, the Prohuman
Student Work division also entered a partnership with the university to make entry to the
regional labour market even easier for students wishing to work.
We are enormously delighted and honoured that HR-Rent Kft has joined the
Prohuman group of companies in playing such an important role in promoting economic
growth both in the region and in the whole of Hungary.
