Farewell to Attila Feleki

Farewell to Attila Feleki

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Attila Feleki, founder of HR Rent Kft. and member of the Prohuman Zrt. board of directors, at the age of 54 after a long illness.

An entrepreneur since the age of 20, Attila Feleki started out in freight transport before gradually building up his businesses as a construction contractor. Since 2008, he had been a prominent representative of the town of Kozármisleny for almost three terms. During this period, the town underwent tremendous development thanks to his hard work and extensive network of contacts. As a representative, his main goal was to implement developments that would determine the long-term living conditions of the local population while also being economically sustainable. Examples include the renovation of the school and the construction of the sports hall and stadium.

He was the head of the department for ten years and then the president of the Kozármisleny Sports Association for another ten years. In 2007, the association was the first in Baranya County to win the Príma Award, which recognises outstanding performance in sports and community life.

In 2010, he received the Gold Award for Football in Baranya County. A staunch supporter of local sports, he has owned Kozármisleny FC for over 20 years, whose successes have brought the region glory throughout the country on numerous occasions. In recognition of his work, he was awarded the title of honorary citizen of Kozármisleny in 2019.

Through his leadership roles at HR-Rent Kft. and the Prohuman Group, he has helped the group to become a leading HR service provider in Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe. It employs nearly 20,000 people in Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia.

The Pécs region and its residents have always been important to him, as has social responsibility. He became a supporter of numerous associations and non-profit organisations through his companies and maintained close ties with the University of Pécs and the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2023, he received the Businessman of the Year award from the latter.

We honour his memory and share in his family’s grief.
